My daughter is 3 months old (will be 4 on the 21st) and sleeps on her stomach. She has just recently stopped being terrified of being on her back. My whole thing though is, is it really that bad? I understand the risk of suffocation but you run the risk of them choking on spit up on their back. There are risks with everything and I do not think it is so bad letting a baby sleep on their tummy.
Now they want you to stop letting them have cover! All I have to say is wtf! You try one night of sleeping on your back with no blankets. I did that when I was pregnant and it honestly is so horrible. So why would you do that to a baby that deserves to be comfortable. I guess my whole rant is justified on the basis of "only the mother knows best for the baby". I just wish doctors didn't make you feel so horrible for doing what is right for your baby and not them.
